• App: The mobile application Challenge Monster.
• Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. For our App, this is primarily your email address and the photos you send.
• Usage Data: Data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the App or from the App infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a session).

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are the Data Controller of your Personal Data.

We have designed our App to collect minimal Personal Data. The information we collect includes:

a) Personal Data Provided by You:

• Email Address: We collect your email address when you voluntarily register and sign in to the App using the "Google Sign-In" authentication service. We do not collect your Google password or any other information from your Google account.

b) Permissions for App Functionality:

• Camera Access: To use the core features of the App, you must grant it permission to access your device's camera. This allows you to create photos and videos to participate in challenges. This permission is only activated by your direct action within the App. The content you create is processed to fulfill the challenge and is stored on our servers unless you delete the challenge within the App.

c) Usage Data (Collected Automatically):

• We may collect information that your device sends whenever you use our App. This Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system version, the time and date of your use, and other diagnostic data. This data is typically anonymized and is used for improving app stability and performance.

4. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data (under GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.

We process your Personal Data because:

• It is necessary for the performance of a contract with you: To provide you with the App's core services, create your account, and manage your participation in challenges.

We will retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. If you choose to delete your account, we will take steps to delete your Personal Data from our active servers in a timely manner, unless we are required by law to retain it for a longer period.

To completely delete your account you can use the form at the bottom. From the app you can easily delete all photos taken but not your account actually.

7. Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to -- and maintained on -- computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. As we are based in France, your information will be processed here. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and that no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of your data.

We do not sell or rent your Personal Data. We may disclose your information in the limited circumstances described below:

• Service Providers: We use Google's authentication service for sign-in. This service is governed by its own privacy policy.

If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
